    Oh god, if we go after Pena I will cry. I just read a proposal of Guzman for Fukudome. That is a beautiful, and fair trade. We get a back-up short stop. We also get insurance for our questionable second base platoon. Guzman could start at short and then Theriot could slide over to second, or I guess Guzman could play second. I would do it.

    Why not get rid of him if possible? Colvin can pass the time until Nady can play the field. Then we can assess the situation in the off season. Colvin could stick, or Nady. If not, look somewhere else. Fukudome was over-hyped, and is not a make or break player.

    I would add the Rays v. Red Sox as a growing rivalry.

    I have to disagree. I think they are pretty accurate at the present. My reasoning is quite simply that this team will most likely change dramatically over the course of this season and off season. If things go right, we should jump quite a few spots.

    The Reds will start during the first week of the season. What is their rotation? Cueto Harang Arroyo Bailey Chapman is that correct? that is not that bad of a staff if Chapman is solid, and I am predicting a break-out season from Bailey.

    I wouldn't give up anything for A-Gon. He isn't the miracle child the cubs need. And the Sox possibly giving up Beckham??? Stupid, IMO.

    there are a ton of free agent first basemen after this season...and we could always go the cheap route i am ready for a change, i hope they are both gone
