Wait, you're rooting for the cardinals? yes, in this series i am also rooting against stupid decisions and as we can now see leaving franklin in the game was [expletive] stupid they deserve to lose this one stupid stupid stupid :-))
i like when people start talking about "true fans" like they are a pristine bowl of cheerios and someone just [expletive] in theirs because they believe differently
why though!? there comes a time when you just have to drop the hatred and realize that an organization has done a good job this decade... recognize that they are a group of quality ball players, and root for them because they deserve to be in the position they are currently So do you root for the Yankees as well? this year i could only see myself rooting for them if the dodgers face them in the world series

I don't care if who the Dodgers have on their team; how the hell can you root for the Cardinals?!? um...they are NOT playing the cubs they are a quality team being my dad's favorite team probably helps as well
admittedly, i didn't read every thread or thought on this board during the course of this past season. but, i don't remember Dempster or Z getting blamed for this season...
He was a first baseman for awhile for the d-backs until they had the corner infielder log jam so they moved him to the OF. So I'm not sure if he could play right in Wrigley. Plus, he's Matt Murton with more playing time. And I'm not sure the Cubs want that on this team or not. Nor am I sure Arizona has any motivation to sell so low on him. the one thing that has me interested in him is his plate patience...and a power that hasn't been fully developed yet...i honestly think he is much better than matt murton oh well...probably an idea that won't even get a rumbling in the rumor mill this offseason
Can he play RF? The Diamondbacks have a log jam in the outfield and he is trying to come back from Valley Fever. I would think he would be fairly cheap to acquire.
was watching it on MLB Network... it doesn't bother me that they won the division, they deserve it, it just brought the cubs season back into focus and that was [expletive] depressing! oh well next year?!? :cray:
