Agree, I get since it's only April you don't necessarily want to manage like a playoff game but the game was still in reach if we get out of it at 3-1 going into the bottom half. Almost need to have someone warming up with Wilson when you plan to bring him in so as soon as he appears to be losing it he gets yanked. Joe's thought process:

The pitching has been mostly good, especially the bullpen. Who knows what, if any, real affects Hickey has had but there's some things to like with how Q has seemed to be attacking a little different so far. I don't know if there's any saving for Wilson and there's been some clunky starts but overall I'm fairly happy with the pitching. Cishek has all been really good and Hickey seemed to have fixed him pretty good going back to last year in Tampa.

Listening on the radio. Did Happ misplay it? He probably could’ve got it but it was up against the wall and he had to jump on the run, it was a tougher play though.
