Also, Kris Bryant is going to end up being a better baseball player than Matt Duffy, because he is a better baseball player than Matt Duffy.

They put up equal value in WAR and Soto played a more valuable position on the #1 team in baseball. He was the proper choice. Not saying he didn't deserve it but it doesn't equal success so it doesn't matter if Duffy wins over Bryant. You don't say.

i hope shwarbs beats him out I was about to say if Schwarber keeps up this pace through September it would not shock me one bit if he wins it. And the narrative that the Cubs turned into an offensive powerhouse upon his arrival into the everyday lineup will only help further his cause to the meatbally voters. I've already heard this narrative and it is so stupid that I can't comprehend it. Not that he didn't make us better; he did. But, him replacing Castro didn't make Fowler, Coghlan, Montero, et. al. better, as I have heard. I mean, I seriously heard that him joining the lineup had this magical effect that made everyone else better. There was something missing, and it was him.
