Well, we had no middle infield depth. I mean, Jonathan Herrera was able to survive the whole season without being cut. And LaStella showed that he was a decent on-base guy in Atlanta. And Vizcaino is a relief pitcher that has been hurt for, like, 8 consecutive seasons. And, he's sorta just meh. Vizcaino has been really good this year closing games for Atlanta. He would be a lot better than a Rodney or Soriano have been. He's not been "really good." His xFIP is 3.96. And he was bad last year and he hadn't been fully healthy in years. He is better than Soriano, and we probably misjudged how good our young bullpen depth was before the season. But, even if we lose the trade, we aren't going to lose it too bad. He's a relief pitcher.
