    Has this been as big a problem the last few months? The only reason I ask is I don't seem to be as annoyed when the situation comes up and expecting them to horsefeathers it up. It's been a weird outlier the Cubs have sucked at for 3 out of the last 4 seasons, including this one. 2016 was the year they bucked the trend, firmly slotting themselves in the middle of the pick instead of near the bottom. It's one of those bizarre baseball things. Oh, yeah. For sure. I was just wondering if we have improved in like June and July after being simply horrid in the beginning of the season because I don't seem to be noticing quite as much.

    It's pretty crazy, obviously he may have some sort of info that's informing these decisions (whether it's numbers or knowing a guy is banged up or whatever) but this all just seems like he's going completely by feel and his own thoughts. The lineup tonight should've been. Zobrist LF/RF Javy 2B Rizzo 1B Willy C Schwarber DH Happ CF/LF Heyward RF/CF Bote 3B Russell SS or something like that, definitely those are the 9 guys that should be in. I love this lineup and this order. If they want to switch Bote and Happ, cool.
