  1. Finally. You agree.
  2. You have 713 of them and I bet it makes you feel sort of good when you get one. It's OK to admit it, just like admitting Starlin is a whatever as a baseball player. You seem to be really dwelling on this. That's because he sucks, bro.
  3. Nobody "bashed" you. Shut up, whore!

  5. I knew I'd get bashed for the post, but felt I needed to speak out. Plus, I was just hoping the free ticket idea might take off. Now like this post, bitches!!!!!!
  6. Yeah, I didn't want to say anything, but the "like" thing seems like it would be cool for middle school kids. Yet, I respect those who it means something to. I'd be much more into it if 100 likes equaled free tickets or something. I'm also anti-dong and anti-Castro, so being anti-like seems to fit my profile. I make no apologies.
  7. Stop calling me "that guy" damn it, like I'm some rookie here. Call me Disco Ball. Show me some respect.
  8. i liked it because it was hilarious (and not the way he intended) wait...how did you know i liked it  Wait. How do you know it wasn't the way I intended?
  9. Also, I just want to point out the times I was right. Such as when I told everybody Carlos Gomez sucks and that Albert Pujols wasn't looking like the same Pujols right before he was about to become a free agent and that Arrietta could be a starter for the Cubs and that the rebuild was worth it. Bitches.
  10. I just feel bad that I'm only known by two of my favorite posters as "that guy." But David is right, he did have to yell at me a lot last season because I constantly was worried about everything. So, really, this Theo worry by me should be expected.
  11. Oh, no. Who was that guy last year that was the undercover Cards fan? Please, please don't give me that label. Also, I feel I continue to be taken out of context about dongs and Castro. You son of a bitch.
  12. For sure. I'd also throw back that it could be going really poorly, too. I suppose...if you just flat out disbelieve the things that have been said. But if you're going that route, you're just making stuff up, so there's no argument to be had. There have been quotes made like that since last year, yet nothing has gotten done. Talks are really good and productive, but then nothing gets done for whatever reason they come up with (i.e. he has to concentrate on other business). Of course I don't know what the exact reason is -- you asked me for possible examples so I gave some -- but I don't think it's that outrageous to wonder why nothing has been signed when they have publicly acted like everything is going great and it will be soon..........when soon was months ago.
  13. Either he wants more money then he's being offered, he doesn't like working for the Ricketts family, he's intrigued by the thought of going back to Boston.......something. Far too many times they have acted like something is close only to give a reason why it didn't get done. Or...and I'm just gonna throw this out there.....they're negotiating. For sure. I'd also throw back that it could be going really poorly, too.
  14. I feel like these guys are pretty smart and could have figured that out by now, though.
  15. Like what? Either he wants more money then he's being offered, he doesn't like working for the Ricketts family, he's intrigued by the thought of going back to Boston.......something. Far too many times they have acted like something is close only to give a reason why it didn't get done.
  16. So Theo said contract talks are "status quo." I'm curious to what the real story is, because I do believe something is up.
  17. i don't even understand the sentimental castro love faction. he was REALLY bad for a couple of years, he never had the type of game most of us like (he didn't walk OR dong...he was basically really good at being a slappy hitter with an occasional hint of pop), he loved to do embarrassing things in the field (and none of what i said takes away from the fact that at other times he was a pretty good young player too), oh, and there was that whole might be a rapist thing that nobody seems to care about anymore. Ignoring the rapist thing as much as I can, as well as the fact that people get shot in his vicinity, there are a couple of reasons why I love him. 1) he came up during a period when the Cubs could not really produce position players from their system, it was awesome to see us have a young guy with skies the limit potential 2) hitting a 3 run bomb in his first ab, endearing moment 3) he was really the only thing to be mildly excited about for a couple of years. He dealt with a lot of [expletive] years here and didn't complain like others *cough*Samardzija*cough* 4) he just seemed like a fun loving guy overall, his teammates seemed to like him 5) he created the helmet rub which was awesome 6) the clapping song I feel like all of this stuff is accurate......but not much was about how well he performed except for his pro debut. And then when you have to use the term "mildly excited" to describe him, I just feel like maybe he wasn't really that good.
  18. Yup. Totally agree. I didn't hate him at all, but he just wasn't that good and certainly not somebody to be that in love with. The walk-up music was cool, though. But this ain't no A-Ram or anything. A soulless robot and the anti-dong guy don't get it. Makes sense. Hahahahaha. I adore dongs. I just understand you can't crave or expect dongs all the time. And why does a dong-lover even love Starlin?
  19. He was at the plate when a run came in. Good enough for me!
  20. Don't believe the David hype. i don't even understand the sentimental castro love faction. he was REALLY bad for a couple of years, he never had the type of game most of us like (he didn't walk OR dong...he was basically really good at being a slappy hitter with an occasional hint of pop), he loved to do embarrassing things in the field (and none of what i said takes away from the fact that at other times he was a pretty good young player too), oh, and there was that whole might be a rapist thing that nobody seems to care about anymore. 21. I was kind of disappointed they didn't score that run after the first two batters did good work. Oh, well.
  22. Ross would just stand there. You have to run at Sczur and make him break and throw home. No, I meant don't even throw it ever.
  23. It's easy to say now, but I think with the pitcher up you just have to let Ross have the bag. That said, Ross had a great half inning there.
