Are you referring to Gordo's tweet? He said no setback. I wouldn't read anything else into it. I just think taking a few extra days to rest instead of playing in an exhibition game is a smart move. That said, I was just thinking this morning, I'm not looking forward to a post-Dexter world next year. Love that dude, and I'm bummed we'll never get to see the full lineup featuring him, our all star infield, Contreras and Schwarbs. Oh yeah Heyward too I guess. I'm not saying I expect it, but I won't totally rule out Dexter coming back. He clearly loves his teammates and probably the organization and his situation. If he continues to perform it seems like a possible match.

Disagree. I like seeing bitterness every once in a while. we already have plenty of regulars that cover that quota. it's a game thread so everyone sort of gets a free pass, but the over-the-top pessimism is tiresome. I can agree to that. But at least it was some sarcasm by Duke and not just stupid pessimism. I enjoy some sarcasm.
