So, serious question. Will the Cubs score another run today? I'm not confident they will, unless they get some luck.

I'm still going more with the defense sucking. I actually think Schwarber played that fly ball not because he was bored but because he sometimes sucks on defense. Don't get me wrong. Chatwood's control is awful. But he's not the problem with the team and has actually been a strength so far, no matter how annoying he is to watch. Standing around while your pitcher chucks balls in the general direction of the plate with no action is a problem. The defense has sucked ass but it’s not helped with Chatwood on the mound. If the D has been good throughout the season, I might buy it. They have been dropping balls and booting them all season no matter who is on the mound.

Chatwood has walked five batters or more in four of his six starts. He walked five or more just two times in 25 starts last season. He's going to need to get back to that.
