    Wasn't there scuttlebutt about a merger of the two earlier in the year? Marquee and CHSN that is to make them more attractive.

    Most recently for Speith is wrist surgery. But he went through some swing changes chasing distance as most have which really seemed to affect his wizardry around and on the greens

    It would seem to me that this is a year late in essence. Not Keenum, per se, but someone who has been in the league and can actually show Caleb how to be a pro/be a sounding board. I think it was pretty obvious that was missing last year and management may have even admitted to it at some point. Bageant obviously doesn't count as that person

    Fair enough. Hand up I don't think I've ever heard him speak, which is why I asked. Checked out was unfair, I agree.

    At the risk of being the guy who reads too much into tone or body language, I don't have access to CHSN and haven't really heard him speak before. Is he always this...dull? Otherwise he sounds pretty checked out.

    Maybe one of you who follow closer could explain the Bedard hate from the national media. I believe I saw the Roenick thing was just him being butthurt about not getting a high five or something similarly petty.

    The absolute worst is the draft lead up. I know some are super into it and that's cool if it's your thing, but the three month lead up is just an absolute slog.

    From the twitter guys who claimed to be on this the whole time, Johnson was #1 and Monken was #2. McCarthy was an organized smoke screen to drive up the price for NO. edited: DaBearsBlog says McCarthy was the contingency. Who know, who cares, we got Johnson!

    If Poles is retained, I'm going to bury my head in the sand and operate from the assumption that Flus was forced on him and Poles immediately knew he sucked. He then made moves that would ensure he got his QB but was also able to get his coach fired, knowing the QB would be attractive enough to any HC candidate. He made this clear to Warren, who over prayer and washing his car, was in on it and helped him get Flus fired. I'm a Bears and Badger fan (some absolutely not fun parallels between these teams this past 3 years), so forgive me if my football brain is completely rotted.

    Not that it likely matters, but I'm pretty sure Grandal is a verifiable bag in the clubhouse.

    I believe I read with the Moore play, he had stepped out of bounds already and cannot be the first to touch the ball and that in those instances sometimes players are coached to just go all the way out or fall down so as to not present themselves as a viable target. The ref's hat is thrown to indicate he had stepped out.

    The only issue I have ever is leaving the stadium to get to Roosevelt CTA. That walk bottlenecks getting around the Field Museum and never really opens up. Inside its perfectly fine.

    The streaming device that allows the remote to "last channel" across apps will make a LOT of money (or at least get mine). Extra credit if it ends the forced Miller Lite ad when I turn back to Marquee

    There's been Saturday double headers and no Sunday game the weekend of the pride parade before if they are at home that weekend.

    The broadcast said Katie Ledecky now has all of the top 20 times in that event I don't follow swimming close enough to know how impressive this really is but it sounds incredibly impressive

    In fairness when the sentence started out with "Pat Bev tells female reporter she can't interview him..." that's about as good of an outcome for the rest of the sentence as it can be. Chucking a ball at fans seems bad though
