  1. Can't wait for Sullivan's article killing Sveum for this and somehow putting the blame on Castro
  2. brb, manually changing every no vote in Manager Approval polls to yes HAHAHA, awesome
  3. How many game do you have them winning this year? game(s) He did say his optimism is waning he might have meant game, singular
  4. There's still 6 games against the Astros left, figure out a way to lose all 6 (sit Castro/Rizzo/Soriano and call up Lopez and go with a Rusin/Raley/Lopez/Germano/Volstad rotation to end the year) and we could get the #1 pick :oldbluekoolaid:
  5. The Castro is a lazy buffon thing is really getting out there. From the Brewerfan.net message board from the game last night I didn't watch the whole game and didn't see a ball end up in RF after Vitters throwing it. I think the 3B usually throws the ball to 2B after getting it after a strikeout. Either way there are plenty of professional players that do stupid things and Castro isn't doing them at any higher rate than a lot of guys. Jesus.
  6. This was in a little news capsule on his page on mlb.com If the X-ray doesn't show improvement and surgery is an option to fix him hopefully they go ahead and get it done by end of Sept/early Oct so he can be ready to pitch at some next season. Instead of taking the wait and see approach and then ST comes and he still hasn't healed and then opts for the surgery.* *That's assuming surgery is even an option to fix whatever is wrong with him. Maybe all he can do is rehab and rest.
  7. The Rockies already won tonight, so we have that going for us, which is nice
  8. 2015 was always my year of picking for anything resembling any sort of competitive/.500 team
  9. It's gonna be sweet when we have Garza just rehab all winter then when ST comes he throws like 2 innings then has to have a surgery
  10. MICHAEL WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THAT I know you're joking. But I doubt Lebron has anything to do with the pricing of his shoe/figuring out marketing and pricing of it and this is coming from an "anit-lebron" guy. This is all on Nike, it's going to be funny to see the outrage towards Lebron on this though.
  11. Sad thing is the Astros are 5-15 during that same stretch, so we've only been able to pick up 1 game on them. But regardless, keep on sucking for #2 fellas!
  12. Lebron's new shoe, "The Lebron X," is going to be $300+. [expletive] http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/8288491/nike-sell-newest-lebron-james-sneaker-300
  13. How much better is advanced A than A? If we would move to the Cal league couldn't we just have the pitchers we thought could actually turn into something just go right from Peoria/Kane County to Tenn and skip the Cal league all together (I would assume with a better approach to player development/scouting/drafting that we have in place now we could accomplish this)? Or is the jump in talent level to big of a gap to expect guys to move from Peoria/Kane County to Tenn regularly without having them face potential road blocks in development by being over matched by competiton?
  14. Now, just get [expletive] Daytona to [expletive] move
  15. This [expletive] team. Just when you think it can't get any worse, Chris [expletive] Rusin is getting trotted out there.
  16. He's obviously not a starter anymore, but I couldn't see him having worse results than Camp/Dolis/Corpas/Etc. out of the bullpen this year.
  17. Crawford is having TJS tomorrow. What a contract
  18. http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/8285494/washington-nationals-prospect-lucas-giolito-re-injures-elbow I'm happy with Almora over him, but I still think he's worth the pick to the Nats in the mid rounds if it's only TJS with the recovery success rate from that being so high and him being so young still.
  19. Vitters not looking real good in the field tonight
  20. We're really making the Astros work for that #1 pick lately
  21. Yes, he's helping us secure the #2 pick. I approve
