  1. And that's why you have multiple SS http://nothingbutmemory.net/red/wp-content/uploads/2009/04/one-armed-man.jpg
  2. Trades 2 and 3 are terrible. 2 especially Edit: read trade 2 as starlin and Russell, not 1. 3 is the worst
  3. I'd be fine trading Javy for Zobrist and Clippar if they felt relatively certain Zobrist was coming back fine from his injury.
  4. What's the deal with Zobrist? Is he expected back soon? id prefer targeting him if he's healthy and he could play LF. Baez+Torres+Vogelbach+ 1 of Edwards/Underwood+1 of Almora/McKinney for Gray, Clippard and Zobrist?
  5. WTF are u swinging at Castillo, that was the same pitch 3 times in a row
  6. By offering him a max deal. Or letting another team. Bird rights and RFA means he's ours if we want him. I understand that it is possible, but wouldn't it put them into uncharted luxury tax territory? That certainly doesn't seem like something Reinsdorf would be thrilled about. Probably can give him a max and still stay under the luxury tax with the cap going up so much the next 2 years
  7. Looks like Rizzo may have tweaked something after he got to 3rd there
  8. Flores has to be the worst defensive SS in MLB, right?
  9. You'd think a guy who can throw 94-96 with movement would get better results than Motte does. Or else consider taking 1-3 MPH off to get better control/increased movement.
  10. I know that getting to that ball took Fowler's momentum away from where he was throwing but man he seems to have a weak arm
  11. JD seemed to disagree. Yeah he seemed to get that out pretty quick
  12. His front leg and arm/elbow are essentially sitting on the inside corner of the plate this year. Don't think it's on purpose, just when pitchers are trying to throw inside he's so close to the plate they have no room for error
  13. Yay, Dexter. Hopefully that reminds the offense that Niese sucks
  14. Awesome pitching. Even with that they had to be scoring 3-4 runs a game, this doesn't seem like an offense that does that consistently
  15. I don't think his speed is anything special. I know they aren't necessarily related but with reports that he's likely not a SS long-term I think you could take an educated guess his speed/quickness isn't all that great.
  16. How were the Mets able to string so many wins together with this offense?
  17. I like this one the most if you want that logo... http://www.amazon.com/Chicago-Performance-On-Field-New-Era/dp/B00MV592W4/ref=pd_sim_sbs_200_1?ie=UTF8&refRID=0Z8H8H16EXB5Y071NSMT
