When I use to follow Bill Simmons a few years ago he always brought up "irrational confidence" NBA players, guys like Jamal Crawford, JR. Smith, etc who legit thought they were top players in the league and weren't afraid at any opportunity to shoot. Javy is our irrational confidence player

Isn't Smith out for the year? I think there's potential he comes back but idk if it's possible before the deadline, he hurt his knee (meniscus I think) and had to have surgery taking off his shoe....

We have him for 2 more years at least, I'd pull the trigger. There's worse ways to spend $25-35 Err this year and next you mean right? Yes and at this rate he's going down as a pretty iconic guy so it's not like it will be a shirsey that can never see the light of day after he's gone.

With Arrieta going there better be no horsefeathering in-game delays and if they think there will be let Cahill, Wood or Richard start and bump Arrieta back a day.

I've been going Ryan Williams the last few rounds, obviously he doesn't have the upside of many but he is close to the majors and I think he can be a variation of Hendricks. Which can be plenty valuable to have
