Lol. They're a mid 80s win team at best for the foreseeable future with their budget and dependence on young pitching. -
He seems to have the funny weirdo sense of humor to make those stories up just to horsefeathers around with the writer, he also seems like they type of weirdo who's wired to do the things depicted in that story.

Nice. Wasn't worried it wouldn't get it, but glad it's done finally. Also great news on McCleod and Jed. After reading the ESPN Magazine article on Theo its clear these guys have a deep bond and love working together. McCleod might just be perfectly happy with the role he has now and working with his buddies.

I think they've only said no drugs or alcohol was found on the boat. Don't think they've announced the autopsy results yet. They did say Jose was not driving tho. However that is determined. Yes it's pretty dumb and reckless to be boating at night but if no drugs or alcohol were involved idk how you even think this is close to OT. This is all true but from the sounds of the Passan article Fernandez was begging teammates and friends to go out with him, and going out at that time of night was said to be quite dangerous due to lack of lighting and lack of other people out on the water to save them in the event of an accident. The driving part doesn't matter at all assuming whoever drove was sober. From the sounds of it he encouraged others to do something fairly reckless and they paid for it with their lives. I don't know where that puts Fernandez in terms of his judgement tbh Fair enough. Not trying to minimize or magnify the blame on him here, just think comparing him to OT with what we know as of right now isn't fair.

well to be fair, boating that late at night was an awful decision, and his friend did say that he stopped at a restaurant super late at night. And if he was driving the boat that night ... well yeah it would be worse than oscar Didnt it come out that there was no alcohol in his system? Or am I misremembering? They should feel lucky they still have 1 left (Syndergaard) out of the bunch. Because 1 out of 5 young SP panning out to be TOR arms is pretty damn lucky.

I did that like 6 years ago in a 10 team private league where I lead the league in pts scored, but ended up like 8th/9th. I'll have to look at my fantasy history and try to find that. That was a very frustrating year. Basically you played guys who had their season high pts total against you. EVERY. SINGLE. WEEK! Then the following week, those guys would score like 30+ pts less. This happened to me in my keeper league 2-3 years ago. Ended the season with far and away the most points but missed out on the playoffs with like a 5-9 record since I played the highest scorer every week.

So messed up and sad, Passan has an article/texts what happened before they were going out on the boat... It appears Ramos had a pretty bad knee injury tonight for the Nats. On top of Harpers finger injury yesterday, Murphy dealing with some sort of leg/hamstring type injury and Strasburg they aren't going to be going into the playoffs too healthy.

Rondon gave up 2 HRs. Can't seem to find his breaking ball or spot his FB. He's hitting 96-98 with the FB though.
