I think they've only said no drugs or alcohol was found on the boat. Don't think they've announced the autopsy results yet. They did say Jose was not driving tho. However that is determined. Yes it's pretty dumb and reckless to be boating at night but if no drugs or alcohol were involved idk how you even think this is close to OT. This is all true but from the sounds of the Passan article Fernandez was begging teammates and friends to go out with him, and going out at that time of night was said to be quite dangerous due to lack of lighting and lack of other people out on the water to save them in the event of an accident. The driving part doesn't matter at all assuming whoever drove was sober. From the sounds of it he encouraged others to do something fairly reckless and they paid for it with their lives. I don't know where that puts Fernandez in terms of his judgement tbh Fair enough. Not trying to minimize or magnify the blame on him here, just think comparing him to OT with what we know as of right now isn't fair.
