Maybe they had such big leads because they knew Miggy doesn't have to arm to throw behind them if they don't steal, like Willson/Ross can/did.

I will always like Miggy, he created the #WeAreGood and played a major role in 2015 and 2016 and yeah our pitchers don't hold runners the best and I'm sure it sucks for him to realize he's aged and the game has/is passed him by. But my god, he can go horsefeathers himself -
Give Miggy a firm handshake and send him on his way

That is a horribly god awful call/rule that, that runner from 3rd isn't allowed to score on that play

Is it velocity across the board on pitches? Because it definitely seemed like he was throwing more changeups/sinkers as the game went on and not so much just his FB/Cutter.

I mean Russell probably isn't available, Zobrist and Heyward are still on the DL and we are facing a lefty tonight so LaStella, Montero and Jay make sense not starting. The order may be weird but (whatever that doesn't really matter) those guys probably give us the best chance.

They've seemed to of handled Addy's shoulder and Zobrists wrist injury very Mets like this year. I hope this isn't a trend moving forward.
