    How often do you think that happens? 5-6 times. Another 5-6 times facing their 2nd to worst starter. I have to think the math typically breaks out that every pitcher in a rotation faces roughly the equal amount of the other teams 1-5 pitchers throughout the year if they make ~30 starts.

    Yeah it could just be randomness and wanting other guys to PH. But seems like there’s been more than one chance for him to at least get a PH opportunity since Friday that he hasn’t been called upon (also not starting tonight is kinda odd, since he’s gonna be the backup catcher in the playoffs and may even start a game or 2 and Rivera won’t be on the roster).

    Pretty much what I'm thinking too, don't start him the rest of the year and just get the necessary side work/rehab done and start him in one of the DS games

Cards traded for him from Philly First he was put on revocable waivers, we claimed him, couldn't agree to terms reportedly offering "marginal value", they put him on irrevocable waivers, Philly claimed him and traded him That's right
