  1. I mean, he wasn't exactly a control pitcher at his best, he's always gonna walk the same tightrope that Edwards does. That’s true but Carl’s stuff is still truly elite. Wilson just throws harder for a lefty and has no semblance of a breaking pitch.
  2. Wilson isn’t fixed, he’s just been lucky to this point how the walks and hits have been sequenced
  3. I honestly don’t think it matters where the catcher sets up pre-pitch to Wilson because I truly think he has no idea where the ball is going out of his hand.
  4. Well 85 mph in the heart of the zone can be hit out by any player in this league no matter the wind. That was batting practice. It didn’t even look like he got all of it and going oppo with it, just seemed like a ball that in no way should get out.
  5. How in the world did that get out if the wind is blowing in like they are saying
  6. Get out of here Pirates, your window is over it was slammed shut in 2015. You’re bums, always have been and always will be. Go find another field of work.
  7. Kyle didn’t respect the wind with that one, hope Hurdle is okay with it
  8. The Pirates yelled at the ump the right way to get their calls, Willy does it the wrong way.
  9. Because it’s not part of the rules anymore and dangerous Apparently you missed this part of the answer. Yeah, well that’s pretty much impossible with the current rules
  10. Because it’s not part of the rules anymore and dangerous
  11. Listening on the radio. Did Happ misplay it? He probably could’ve got it but it was up against the wall and he had to jump on the run, it was a tougher play though.
  12. The last two balls looked like pop outs off the bat, how did they carry so much
  13. horsefeathers, missed opportunity. Made him work though, good to see hard oppo contact by Russell
  14. Of course this was Clint Hurdles take, what an old bag of farts. [tweet] [/tweet] “Cubs being Cubs.” Oh you mean the team that’s won about 300 games the last 3 years, crushed your souls in 2015 and their impending behemoth of a team scared you in to a rebuild instead of trying to compete?
  15. He really is turning in to Votto. He’s convinced umps he knows the zone better than them so he’s getting strikes called balls. What an at bat.
  16. Bucholz had two seasons over 3 WAR, 1 over 2 and 1 over 1.5 then a bunch of replacement levelish ones. But yeah they weren't great at developing pitchers and most of their pitching was acquired through trade or FA, which is how it should be done anyways, IMO.
  17. Every game should be this easy http://oohlo.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/WouldThatITwereSoSimple.gif
  18. Hey Jesse Rogers, take your sensationalizing of the Ks and RISP and shove it up you’re mother horsefeathering ass.
  19. It was earlyish last year and I remember them not handling it great. Like he wasn’t DL’d, tried to play through and just given off days here and there and just kept running out there with it until it was too late in the year to DL him and get him back healed. He couldn’t even hit right handed at one point.
