Other than KB he’s maybe had the best plate appearances overall this year in terms of discipline and working counts. The results will come. -

If we were depending on and needed him to be the best guy in the rotation I’d be worried. But since we can reasonably expect Darvish, Quintana and Hendricks to all be better it doesn’t bother me all that much.

His next turn in the rotation shouldn’t come back up until some time in May so I think 160 is reasonable today

Even a good armed RF’er might not have a chance at throwing these guys out but since Folwer has one of the weakest RF arms in the league they are just pressing their luck knowing he’s not going to throw them out

The approach by the team today is amazing

Yeah, give me the guy who is still doing some things well and has the premium stuff and is suppressing contact and hope he gets the BB down to about 4 per 9 over the guy who just might have lost it a bit and is going to get hit hard and will have to depend on luck/defense/sequencing to be good.

It’s tough when you play twice a week and then when you do it’s 20 degrees Someone should tell the other cold weather teams that didn't get to play 8 of their first 10 games in Miami or inside that they're not allowed to have all those extra dongs. I haven’t looked it up but if I had to guess, like with most stats, we rank in the upper third of the league in rate stats for HRs this year.

He’s struggling to get hits but his approach has still been really quite good and he was hitting and hitting the ball hard earlier in the year.

I don’t see them ever putting a team in Latin America anywhere. Just series here and here. I could see Vegas as a favorite. Also a group in Portland just bought two pieces of land that could be used for a future MLB stadium
