  1. It really makes no sense to not play Javy at 3rd in this configuration My brain says this makes sense but then I watch Javy on the pivot at second base on double plays and I feel like there’s no way in hell Tommy comes anywhere near making some of those places. I also just watched some World Series highlights today and may be under the influence of Javy the magician at the moment. Yeah, I mean it's a downgrade at whatever spot Tommy plays. Just seems like Tommy struggles with even routine stuff at 3B and there isn't the margin for error there for the weaker arm/bobbling a ball/etc. and he is passable at 2B (obviously he lacks Javy's wizardry) and has the extra margin to screw up and still make plays. Probably should come down to what their pre-game scouting says where they feel more balls will go between 2B/3B and play them accordingly. I've just always hated Tommy playing 3B since he really isn't capable there.
  2. Win you jerk faced idiots and show us the frauds that the VB's really are
  3. That looked like a called bunt, he squared way early and wasn’t going for a hit.
  4. I really loved Roquan Smith going in to the draft. Might not be the flashiest or best guy but he’s really good and an animal.
  5. Browns could have traded down both picks and done this draft My thoughts as well
  6. That was one of the most impressive at bats I’ve ever seen Almora have
  7. If I was them I think I’d do Chubb/Barkley at 1, then trade out of 4 to a QB needy team (Broncos, Bills, Cardinals, etc).
  8. I’m worried since it seems like it’s a mental thing (understandably so) and not physical thing. I’m hoping to see him back tomorrow, a soft tossing lefty in Suter seems like a good guy to get him back in there against.
  9. Yeah if Bukie wants to come in and still do one feel free to delete my thread. Just figure I’d at least get a place holder up.
  10. Fangraphs projections has it at Cubs 91 (tied for most with Dodgers in NL), Cardinals 88, VB’s 82 as of right now and who cares about Reds/Pirates, fwiw. We are at 88% for playoffs (62% for division) Cardinals at 72% (31%), Brewers 25% (5%). Current Pythagorean Wins are VBs 14-11, 15-8, Cubs 13-8
  11. Someone asked where it was in last nights thread and Duke said throw one up since it was close enough to game time. Take it down if you want.
  12. They're the best team in the division besides us but I'm not worried about them, they probably top out at mid-high 80s wins and we should clear them by a good ~7 games in the end.
