If it’s something serious I hope he/they don’t horsefeathers around with it though and try to do that PRP injection stuff and just opt for surgery to get it out of the way. I know it’s easy to say on a message board to “just get surgery” but that injection procedure never seems to work.

When is his spot due up next in Iowa? He’s gonna be needed Wednesday. He’s had a few bad starts in a row though. I assume they’ll go with Montgomery. Oh yeah I’d assume Monty gets the 1-2 starts if that all it hopefully is. But if it’s longer I wouldn’t mind giving Alzolay a chance come middle of June.

What’s bizarre is I felt his stuff the last two starts looked like normal (pre-Cub) Yu Darvish. Obviously with pitchers, who the horsefeathers knows, and guys still pitch through these things frequently. Or maybe it happened in a side session, etc. But this timing is odd. Yeah idk, hopefully it’s more precautionary than anything and if it is something hopefully they caught it early to mitigate it being a bigger thing.
