    Yeah this seems plenty fine. At worst he seems to add depth over the weekend/this long stretch vs the horsefeathers AAA shuttle and at best he really works out as a bullpen guy or spot starter.

    I don’t think Hand was a realistic target for us, so I’m glad the Indians got this done now because they were definitely getting a RP(s) and should be out on the more reasonable targets for us (Yates, Britton, Conley, Barraclaugh, etc).

The writers in this industry are so horsefeathering bad haha, exactly what i was thinking. is russell along better than the package they got? probably. also gives me hope that we can package together some crap from our system to get something meaningful. We could get a better package for Russell alone than what the Orioles got for Machado, so yes Russell alone would’ve gotten it done.

    That was such a odd interview today. I was listening waiting for Theo’s interview and it was on and it was the oddest thing I’ve ever heard.

    It probably was mostly fun for them because they knew they could swindle guys in the end 9 times out of 10 but at the same time they probably hated it because it was probably always a moving target and wildly ranging valuations for transactions that they had to be driven crazy.

    Steve Phillips and Ralph are exactly the type of guys who have solid sources in the Orioles org because there are the same type of idiots running the team as they are and probably ran orgs together in the past.

    There’s a bunch of things that have been out there. Some of them were the Spurs doctors and his doctors/trainer didn’t agree on the course of action with his groin injury last year, another is his uncle who is his manager type dude got more involved lately in controlling him and wants him out, another is his shoe deal came up recently or for re-negotiations and he didn’t get as big of deal as other stars and blamed it on being in San Antonio
