Wait what? Sounds like the wanted to play it safe. Face two lefties, so he’d only get 1 start and with two longer plane rides it’s probably not worth the risk of something being reaggravated and he gets an extra day off with the off day Thursday.

We have equal riff raff left, I’m hoping we can go 8-5. They’d have to go 11-1 to pass us, 7-6 should be good enough too. They’d have to go 10-2.

great, just when Willy looked to break out of a slump his hot-rodding will get him benched I doubt Joe benches him for this, he’ll get a good talking. Willy should be in there vs the two lefties at the least in Arizona.

The rotation had a resurgence just as the offense went to horsefeathers. Go figure It really feels like nothing has lined up at all this season along those lines. I guess there were a few stretches where the offense and the bullpen seemed to be kicking ass together, but that's about it. It's one hell of a Frankenstein's monster of a 90+ win season.
