    I don’t mind pitching to Yelich in that spot. Q has good career numbers vs him, got weak contact in the first vs him, Braun hit the ball hard in the first and crushes lefties

    ESPN has one of the WC games this year, maybe it was part of that deal that they got any Game 163 games this year. Also I’m guessing MLB dictates these start times more than the networks, since the losing team needs to travel and you would potentially have another team not knowing where they had to go. Like if the Rockies/Dodgers game was a regulr night game the loser wouldn’t wind up in Milwaukee or Chicago until like 6/7 in the morning on Tuesday.

    Nah, they’ll talk themselves in to thinking they can compete again like this year and do some half measure moves and wind up in the low-mid 80s wins again. Hey, since that's what everyone was saying about the Brewers, too, then this will, of course, mean that they end up with at least 100 wins. Unless they do some crazy trade(s), the VBs are going to be back to being a low-mid 80s team next year too.
