I don't know if this was brought up, didn't want to look through the pages for it, but IMO the offense needs to shoulder some blame here too. We had 16 baserunners (9H/7BB), with our offense that should have translated into 5+ runs, we should never been in that position at the end of the game where all it takes is one bad play or two that can make us lose a game. It didn't help that Theriot/Soriano had a couple awful defensive plays and the bullpen didn't shut the Brewers down but the amount of runners we got on we should have won that game in a blowout and not put ourself in a close game situation in the end.
