I read the first one he got called out on strikes and then laid the bat down and waited in the batter's box until he got tossed, which is hilarious. My understanding of this situation (according to statements made by Wakamatsu) is that Bradley wasn't trying to show up the ump, but rather that he thought the inning was over and was waiting for the bat boy to bring him his glove and cap. This--if true--is even more hilarious. He then proceeded to get the ball from the called 3rd strike and throw it into the RF bleachers, runners were allowed to advance 1 base. so does that count as a sacrifice? Fielders Choice

Every time they get close, Kansas State rattles off a few threes. It's making for annoying basketball. It really is, Kansas State isn't this good of a three point shooting team. That's been a trend in the tournament so far. Average to below average 3 shooting teams shooting lights out or well above their season averages.

Kansas State completely took Fredette out of the game there, BYU should maybe move someone else to point in the 2nd half and start running Jimmer of screens or have him moving off the ball more to work it to him.

I could place in both of my pools (got Syracuse winning one over Kentucky, and Kentucky winning over Kansas in another) I have BYU over Kansas St. tonight, which would be a big game for me, but I have a feeling Kansas St. runs them out of the gym.

I know UNI is playing really well right now (likely above their real talent level), but how weren't they at least a 6-7 seed? If not a 4-5? Oh, and seeing dudes name is Ali Farokhmanesh and that he is white is nearly as surprising as finding out Brett Jackson is white.

UNI really needs to start getting better looks. Their last couple of offensive possessions they have played like schmucks. I know their game is chucking 3's, but with Aldrich out now they gotta try to get something going to the hoop.

UNI has the talent to keep this game close, but I don't see Kansas losing. Hopefully I am wrong.

This could have a significant impact on is option vesting for next year. He needs to finish 55 games this year for it to vest or else it becomes a team option, which the Indians likely won't pick up. 55 was a stretch if he were to be healthy all year, but now that he will miss a monthish to start the year, added to the fact he might not return as their closer right away, and that he is likely to get hurt and miss more time during the year, it's a good possibility he's a FA after the season.

Watchable Wisconsin games are pretty darn rare. They play fantastic defense, but their games just grind to a halt. Yeah I know, I hate Bo Ryan, I hate the swing offense, and I hate "badger ball."

Jokes aside, the longer ad board looks much better than the shorter and taller one. IMO. At least individually, but the shorter/taller one looks better with the long one next to it, while I really only like the look of the longer one standing alone. -
Granted the first round is only 2/5's over but I can't remember a better tourney. I don't think that is just getting caught up in the moment either. Yeah, I'm strongly considering calling in sick tomorrow. I got class 9-12 (ct) I am thinking about "not feeling well" around 10:45-11 to get back in time for games to start.
