    Pitched 2 years in high school without having played more than softball before. I went to a school with 2900 students in the suburbs of a top 20 city.

    You can say what you want about Soriano's contract vs. his production, but he has generally been a good guy in the clubhouse. Everyone praises his attitude and professionalism.

    Do you mean his 21 career HRs or the 16 he hit for 2012?

    I lived in Cincinnati for almost 20 years. I am not a fan of Skyline or Goldstar. Cincinnati does have a few local restaurants that are enjoyable. Montgomery Inn serves BBQ that uses a plum sauce that makes it unique. There is also Larosa's pizza which is what they serve at Kings Island if you have ever been there.

    Yes! Let's trade a big bunch of players who all have no trade clauses. We will be able to force them on another team, and not have to pay huge chunks of salary, and will get massive returns on high quality prospects.

    You guys are all forgetting something important. If he retires, then he will be eligible the same year as Ken Griffey Jr. They won't let him go in on the first ballot with Griffey. I am not saying it is right, but they like to do that a lot.

    Theriot's problem is that a mediocre OBP doesn't really cut it when you do nothing but hit singles, (171 hits, 222 total bases) and run poorly. People put up with mediocrity when it is cheap. Once he started expecting to be paid more, everyone felt the money could be used better elsewhere.

    Trading Theriot to Seattle isn't going to happen, but one can dream. Theriot isn't going anywhere soon, and Seattle signed Jack Wilson to a 2 year deal this winter.

    Wonder what the chances of him ever being traded to Seattle are? I would love to see him reunited with Bradley.

    Poor ESPN. Now they will have to fill in all that Red Sox coverage with more Yankees coverage.

    I think most people would like to see Trammell given a shot after Lou leaves. Sandberg needs to pay his dues as a Major League coach before becoming a manager. Let Trammell manage and have Sanberg be the 3rd base coach or bench coach.

    When I pitched in High School, the only player on the team I didn't want to piss off was the catcher. Catchers are sneaky little bastards who will make you pay.
