I believe the only time we have batted in the bottom of the 9th is in losses and the extra inning game. -

Nah, we already had Theriot. More like Fontenot he had a .909 OPS in 284 PA over 119 games in 2008. Remember the "sneaky power" when he hit 9 HRs that year too. He then proceeded to never put up more than a .734 OPS after that. -
Just enjoy the fact that we will dump some of the bullpen by August.

Last years team was good and it was the most fun we've had in a few years. This years team is just the most beautiful thing to behold.

I look at the other FA pitchers and I see David Price imploding and Greinke sucking and I'm like Well I guess there wasn't much you could do here Plus Shelby Miller was a rumored trade target of ours and hes having a rough start.

He's the only starter that I was actually surprised when he had 1 start and gave up 0 runs. Of course having 2 other starts of giving up 6 runs each doesn't help.

The Murphy hate I get. But other than the team he plays for, not sure why you hate Kolten Wong. I hate EVERYTHING about him, but I'm sure a lot of it is the team. He just gives me the heebie jeebies. I have an irrational fear of Piscotty.

I want to say it was later like 2008 or 2009. I was at the Cincinnati game that we clinched the division. Fans stayed after the game waiting for the Brewers to lose for the clinch. We were singing it then and I remember it being a relatively new thing. I wanna so '07. I was at the game where they took the percentage points lead over the Brewers in '07 and they played it. Yeah I think the game I was at was 08.

Sorry I didn't equate the time frame, and I didn't realize Lester was that good last May. I just remember last april vs. how he ended the season. In general it's just safe to not "remember" a time when Lester was bad with the Cubs because Lester has been a great pitcher for the Cubs. More of a function of our bad luck at the start of last season I think.
