I honestly think we've been using some of our pen as innings eaters with the intention of dumping them come July/August. We are making a concentrated effort to limit the innings of some of our starters. The MO has been to find some random arm from the pile every August. We're already beating playoff caliber teams, but it is only May. I trust Theo and Co. to do what is best for the team. -

Nah, we already had Theriot. More like Fontenot he had a .909 OPS in 284 PA over 119 games in 2008. Remember the "sneaky power" when he hit 9 HRs that year too. He then proceeded to never put up more than a .734 OPS after that. -
Just enjoy the fact that we will dump some of the bullpen by August.
