Pretty sure the schedule was out before the Wrigley renovations got pushed back. Pretty random game to have in primetime though. Even as a Cubs fan, I'd probably rather see KC/St Louis At the beginning of the season ESPN had only nailed down the first 4 or 5 games of the season. The renovation schedule was already known at the time this game was selected. However, I still doubt the RF bleachers being finished had anything to do with this selection. As has been said, a competitive Cubs team is a big draw. Also, a competitive team where people have problems getting to watch them everyday (due to the TV situation) is a big draw. That's why the Dodgers were on SNB so often last summer.
