I feel so bad for Brewers and Pirates fans that I don’t even really get enjoyment out of destroying them, other than the actual winning games/division titles part. To put it another way, I love winning games in the division, but spiking the football isn’t even fun for me when it comes to the Pirates and Brewers. -

Kyle Hendricks, ladies and gentlemen.

What I love about this team is that the following players have the ability to carry the rest of the offense for week-long stretches: Bryant Baez Rizzo Schwarber Russell Contreras Really takes the pressure off everybody. Nobody has to be the guy even though many would be for other teams.

We went on vacation once together. My wife has been there many times for both vacations and mission trips. Before the diagnosis we had a trip scheduled for last week to checkout Aguadilla and Rincon and to look for houses. We were going to go to the Tuesday Indians/Twins game. As it turns out the power issue would have made that trip pretty miserable with a 1-year-old and a 3-year-old.

well after you kick Hodgkin's ass imagine how much fun you'll have when you are drinking a beer watching the cubs play your hometown PR club from the stands I know, right? Except my wife is (understandably so) very reluctant to move away from world class medicine.

About PR getting a baseball team. I could only see that if Puerto Rico has quite the rally as an island in the next 10-20 years. It’s a long story, but I actually think there are some scenarios where Puerto Rico could do just that. The wife and I were doing a ton of research into moving down there. My company even gave me the go ahead to move down there and keep my current job (I work entirely remotely from home). I think it was going to happen later this year or early next year if I hadn’t been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s.

Matheny challenged (actually, asked for a review and was granted it - he already used his challenge and lost) that Jay Bruce didn’t touch 1B on his HR in the 10th last night. Replay showed he stepped dang near the very center of each base. No idea why they thought he missed 1B.

Seems to be a lot of egregious strike calls against Caratini already this year for a limited number of AB.

Javy kept standing in front of DJ on every pitch during the Arenado PA when the signs were being given and then moving back. DJ obviously didn’t like it. I know, but why is the ump involved? That’s just cat and mouse. That’s pretty annoying right there.

Just for the record, I’m hoping we don’t hit anybody. I have no interest in adding potential injury or suspensions for relaliating. Not going to do a thing but put somebody on anyway.
