    To add on i deliciously await a Cubs 4 to 1 lead being handed to Chapman where Buck insists they have to be confident against Aroldis because of game 5. Followed by Chap quickly letting LAl know 96 & 97mph in game 5 was just a mere bullpen session & he shoves 102, 103, 104 bullets past them all striking out the side & Wrigley goes nutsss!

    I wanted to send trash ass Castro Tyson Ross and I for one was sick to my stomach thinking Theo might do it. horsefeathers pitchers (think Ross has serious issues now) & i was always against trading Javy. Im actually in the minority that hes more untouchable than Addy even but good news is they will dominate together up the middle the next decade in Cubs pinstripes.

    Maybe I'm just losing my mind but I almost wouldn't mind that combo starting game 7 if necessary. Heck throw Lester in there for an inning or two if needed. I sadly just do not trust Jake at this point with all those lefties in a game that might require 0 margin for error. I considered it too, or even start Jake but let him work 2-3 innings. It mostly seems that when he gets in trouble it is the 2nd time through the lineup. horsefeathers Game 7!! Cubs are goin to rock Maeda. Hit up Kershaw for 3 early, get a gem from Hendricks and Chapman is goin for a 2 inning save with 5ks and 25 pitches over 100 mph.

    To deviate from this a bit.... I was out in Vegas in middle of July, in like the middle of June I was looking at WS odds and saw the Indians were around 16/1 (give or take 2) depending on where you went and I had them circled as a pretty good value bet at the time and I planned to put some decent money on them. Then about 2 weeks before I was scheduled to be out there they won like 14 in a row and like 20 of 25 or something crazy and had taken control of the division and maybe traded for Miller or whatever and they were down to 5/1 when I got out there so I laid off. Would've been nice to have the timing of my trip better to get them at that 16/1 or so as I could be locking in some serious profits starting around the 3rd game of the WS. I know, nobody cares about my gambling stories but this missed opportunity stings a bit. Is there a market for buying odds off someone? For example if somebody locked in the Indians 16 to 1, do they ever sell their ticket when odds have moved down 2 to 1 for the Indiand. The buyer would pay a premium that would reflect him getting the 16 to 1 odds but the premium would have to be some middle point where hes obviously not just paying a premium that puts him right back to 2 to 1 all in.

    Cubs might get rolled the next 2 games but I predict Cubs get on board early in consecutive games, getting leads to the bullpen of doom & Cubs win 3 straight to take the series 4-2..

    96 Yanks were down 2-0 and rattled off 4 titles in 5 years. Lets do the same except down 2-1.. Hell yanks came back against the 90s Braves, the Dodgers offense looks like the 90s Cubs to me..

    Wood - 3.2 IP, 1 ER, 4K Montgomery - 5.2 IP, 2 ER, 3K Not awful, not worth freaking out about. Having 3 lefty relievers is awesome, especially against this Dodger lineup Not saying they are pitching bad but id rather them dominate lefties early & bring Chapman in clean 8ths for two inning saves. I know this was much earlier in the game thread.

    Schwarber isn't on the 40-man roster. Couldn't play even if healthy. Is this true? How did he end up off? Does the 60 day DL take you off?

    Posted in the craziness of last night. Pumped beyond belief but I want to reiterate I hope Theo is threatening Joe with driving his RV into the ocean if he keeps using Wood and Montgomery in anything past the 7th. Start using Chapman like the Indians use Miller. 2 horsefeathers innings everytime & start him in a clean or relatively clean inning. If its the 8th and one man gets on bring in horsefeathers Aroldis. Aroldis nearly pulled us out of that... but Gonz put in a great AB on one mistake. Know whats really hard... stringing 3 straight hits together against Aroldis. Let CJ, Strop and Rondon dominate the 6th and 7th... and bring in the flame throwing goblin in the 8th and 9th & DOMINATE!
