    Francona schooled Maddon tonight. Leaving the best strikeout pitcher of alltime with RISP position in the 7th to lose the game while Francona brings Miller in early to blast through the heart of our order.

    Im a little relieved. Id love his bat in the lineup, wasnt scared of reinjury but I was very very frightened of him fuckin up a key liner or flyball (especially in Wrigley's October Wind).

    Baez puts so many flyballs on the track that I feel wind has screwed him on this year that I could see him hitting 4 HRs Friday. Any fastball.. even above his head is in danger of landing in the streets.

    Don't those stats say Tomlin has a higher % of groundball outs than Kyle? Unless I ran it incorrectly. Tomlins flyballs end up in the bleachers.

    Same here. I would have liked Strop or CJ in to face Napoli and finish the 8th. I feel like this has been ridiculously exagerrated & id rather nobody get the ball to get out of a jam more than Chapman.

    Personally thought Kluber looked better than Cueto, Bum, Kershaw & Hill tonight. That 2 seamer was wicked and he was just hitting the corner or off the corner called strikes all night. Knock around the next 2 bums and see if starting Kluber in game 4 if hes tired and loses some control & movement. The guy looked fantastic tonight but hes not Walter Johnson.

    I said after a game 3 loss to the Doyers this team was going to go win 7 in a row. Lets horsefeathering do it. The Indians are banged up... hoping for something from Bauer and Salazar, plus missing more pieces, they will be rusty, lets go pound them into oblivion. Huge RD games & Cubs Winning 4 more in a row!! Lets Go!!!!!

    Oh man, this sent me down a rabbit hole looking through that moron Vlahos's posts on there. After thousands of posts (from what I can tell, all whining about Theo's "plan"), over years and years, his last post was on July 6, 2015. What a miserable person. The BCB logo looks like some kind of twisted, inflamed testicle. SB comment sections are baffling. That's all I have to add to this nonsense. Who is Al Yellon & does anybody have links to some of Vlahos' asshat posts. That guy is terrible, actively rooying for Addison Russell to be a bust cause we dared trade Shark for him.

    As great of a story it would be for Schwarber to make the roster, I can't help but think LaStella is the better option. I want it to be Schwarber, but he can't play defense and would be a liability on the bases, so it's basically home run or nothing. I won't be surprised at all if the Cubs decide to go the safe route. LaStella has no business ever playing infield defense in a playoff game on this team. If Javy isnt in than Zobie is in. So its pretty much a debate on who you would rather have hit, rusty Schwarber or also a semi-used LaStella.
