  1. You'll still lose by one after we score two this inning. you didn't let me finish, followed by a rolen 9 run bomb. I don't think they let players bat after they've been taken out of the game. :D

  3. On a happy not...if Pujols, Rolen and Edmonds had all homered we would still be winning 7-5. Pujols is out though. :D
  4. Shouldn't I feel comfortable with a 7 run lead in the 8th?
  5. Mike Shannon and he has called him that since his first major league appearance. The other guy is John Rooney.
  6. Ya know what? We've heard nothing about Walkers defense at 1B. That is a good thing that there isn't anything to talk about there. He looks comfortable there to me.
  7. It's pretty hard for Pierre to nab a bag when Dusty has Cedeno bunting almost every AB. true dat. it just reminds me of neifi batting in the 2 hole, fouling off pitch after pitch with pierre green lighted, looking to nab a bag. not cool. I really believe Ronny is a better choice to bat 2nd than Neifi...by a wide margin. :D

  9. See what Ronny can do if you let him swing Dusty?!!!
  10. Dusty had any gumptio he would call time, walk out to home plate and ask to see the ball. Just because. But it is Dusty so it won't happen.
  11. I think LaRussa thinks he can rattle Maddux.
  12. That wasn't Ecksteins fault. Maddux threw the ball to the homeplate side of the bag and pulled Walker into the basepath. And yes, it was frightening. true, but why would the midget move left, into Walker? I really didn't see that. I'm not saying he didn't but I didn't notice it.

  14. Yes it does. If you reach on an error, you get charged an AB, 0 for 1. And for OBP it counts as a reached base safely. no it doesn't. Oops...my bad.

  16. Cedeno will lead the league in sac bunts this year. #-o
  17. Cedeno has been pretty good lately too...when Dusty doesn't have him sacrifice.
  18. That could have been a dangerous play at first between Pujols and Neifi. Unfortunately, both are okay.
  19. I wouldnt :) Hindsight is always 20/20. :D
  20. I don't like the sacrifice even though we scored a run. Stupid Stupid Stupid!!!!
  21. LOL, I hadn't really thought about it but since you asked it is kinda sad... How much of a "breakthrough" is it to add an extra razor? It's the "lift and then cut" that was the breakthrough. :o
