I know why you are saying that, but I believe it's dead wrong. I believe we would have needed Sori to go on a prolonged hot streak to get to the playoffs anyway. If he's out, that has no chance of happening. Murton's not going to get more play time, if that's what you are thinking. Lou hates Murton, it's pretty clear. The current run has been accomplished with Soriano putting up some very mediocre numbers. Losing Sori would hurt but it doesn't mean the season's over. Lou has found a way to be able to pencil in Jones, Floyd and Pagan in upcoming games. That's not encouraging.
