Ok I'm going to lower my demands. I no longer care about getting a run; please let Bradley at least hit the ball hard. That's as low as my standards can go.
I don't understand why people keep bringing up the cat or Bartman or the goat anyways. I can't recall the last time I talked to a Cub fan who used those as any kind of excuse. I swear the only time they're ever mentioned is by other fans talking trash and the media filling up air time.
I'd have to assume they ruled his glove was above the fence. Perhaps, but that doesn't matter when the Indian's outfielder made contact with the fan's glove before the ball got to that point. The fan kept the outfielder's glove from getting to the height where he had a play on the ball.
How can the umpires possibly believe that was not fan interference? When a fan knocks down the players glove, that is the very definition of fan interference. What a joke, the umps get it wrong in real time and still get it wrong after a replay. That's a case of pride getting in the way of reality.
Is there really no AL team willing to give up anything of value for what is obviously a major league ready bat? God I wish he could even remotely play decent defense at any position. Daryl Ward couldnt remotely play defense at any position, and we kept him around for 2 years. This is true and I'd really like to see Fox on the 25 man, but if the Cubs lose Gathright they become an extremely slow baseball team. Who pinch runs? I can't imagine Lou would waste Fuku/Reed or Miles/Fontenot strictly for pinch running.

5.0 IP, 2 ER, 4 H, 2 BB, 6 K, 1/8 GO/FO The 8 FO are a little concerning, but that lines pretty decent. I have high hopes that Jackson can be a really solid 3 for the Cubs.
