He's being paid a zillion dollars and has a .760 OPS. Who cares if he came through one time. Bob was ripping him last year when he had a much better OPS. lazy is lazy regardless of performance. Soriano has done more than enough this year to justify Bob's response even if it doesn't necessarily apply to that particular play.

Any chance at all he'd make it through waivers? He's really cheap and really good... Despite what Harold Reynolds say, I think it would be impossible for him to clear waivers. -

Really happy to hear this; I didn't think the Cubs would pay him what he wanted. If they can sign Eric Whaley, I'll be pretty thrilled with how things have gone. -
