  1. I always looks to me like Bryant takes too long to get rid of the ball, but then he unleashes his cannon and beats the runner by a mile.
  2. Not going to lie, I'm starting to think this Lester signing may be disastrous.
  3. Someone explain why you would walk Ross to get to Castro. Ross is terrible and Castro is a fairly good contact guy.
  4. Come on Castro. No strike outs and no rolling over to 3B.
  5. Great, Alcantara needs to put a ball in play off Kimbrel. edit; make that Ross.
  6. Well, they just need to survive one more half inning.
  7. Alcantara misses twice at 90mph fastballs right down the middle. Please bring Javy back asap.
  8. So we have Edwin,Schlitter and Rosscup left. Basically win in the bottom of the 9th or it's game over.
  9. I have zero faith we get out of this tied. Plus the bullpen is now dead for extras.
  10. unbelievable. No reason whatsoever for Coke to face Kemp after he couldn't even get Alonso out.
  11. Rondon? I wanted Rondon in the game.
  12. Ok Rondon please, quit [expletive] around.
  13. Might want to give Strop the quick leash.
  14. Well Coghlan has been an absolute disaster today.
  15. Really would have preferred another inning of Hendricks.
  16. This team is not so good at getting in runs from 3rd with less than 2 outs.
  17. Soler approaching extremely scary K rates.
  18. Pitchers not being able to bunt will forever irk me.
  19. Hey a diving catch to keep the Cubs from runs, shocking.
  20. Really good recovery after a miserable start to that at bat.
  21. Fowler is striking out a lot so far this season. edit: I guess not, he's only at 21.4 which is his career average.
  22. It's early but the velocity is down from 93.8 to 91.9, the K rate is way down as well.
