That was a fantastic pick by Zobrist. I thought that ball was bound for RF.
  2. Tryptamine
Letting Hammel hit for himself and then using Patton in a high pressure inning. Joe isn't having a real good day.
  3. Tryptamine
I'm not sure why Patton has to make his mlb debut during a game like this. It's not like the Cubs don't have enough blow out games to get him some low pressure innings.
  4. Tryptamine
    This ump really sucks.
  5. Tryptamine
    2B it is.
  6. Tryptamine
The only question is will he roll it over to the 2B or 1B.
  7. Tryptamine
    Finally some luck for Russell
  8. Tryptamine
Thank god, Harper with no one on.
  9. Tryptamine
He's not good, just chuck it down the middle and make him earn it.
  10. Tryptamine
It's going to be this Strop eh?
  11. Tryptamine
First team to score wins with this strike zone
  12. Tryptamine
Jose Altuve is 5'6" and 165lbs yet he already has 9HR and is currently slugging .670.
  13. Tryptamine
I think the opposite. Going to be very surprised if they can overturn at 1st.
  14. Tryptamine
So you can apparently challenge as many things as you want as long as it's in a single play now.
  15. Tryptamine
Could have made that play at home....
  16. Tryptamine
    So disappointing
  17. Tryptamine
Sure would be nice if Heyward decided to be anything better than awful. As much as I enjoy rolling over everything to the 2B and a mighty .250slg.
  18. Tryptamine
For the fan base of a team that is 17-8 and in first place, you think they'd spend more times talking about their own team.

The same easy going guy who posted picture of a dead Oscar Taveras on his twitter as well various porn related things. Seems like a good fella.
  20. Tryptamine
Did Tampa just take a kicker at pick 59?
  21. Tryptamine
Well I guess that confirms that GB stole our guy.
  22. Tryptamine
If the Bears take Connor Cook I'm going to get sick. Can't believe they didn't take Bell back at 49.
  23. Tryptamine
Absolutely hate this pick. Gave up a 4th rounder for nothing.
  24. Tryptamine
Carter some how walks on 4 strikes and 2 balls.

they are so far ahead of us in the rebuilding process that they are starting the next rebuild already Houston has a lot more left on the farm than we do. Martes should be a top 25 arm by mid year, Bregman is destroying AA, Reed is starting to recover from a slow start, but unquestionably remains the best 1B prospect in the minors. They'll have their choices of Michael Feliz, Francis Martes and Joe Musgrove for the rotation next year. 2017 and going forward they'll be a vastly improved team.
