    Carassco's contract is fantastic. 4/22 through 2018 and club options for 2019 and 2020 at 9M and 9.5M respectively.

    If Carassco is available, he jumps right to the top of the wishlist for me. Absolutely filthy peripherals (2.81FIP,2.73xFIP,10.08K/9), with an ERA that is lagging behind.

    Nottingham is a guy who is going to finish well within the top 100 prospects. Kazmir didn't come that cheap.

    You're offering an insane amount for 2.5 months of Price. The going price will not be anywhere near that high.

    It's incredible. He's never been a particularly high touted prospect. If I remember correctly he barely cracked the top 100 and wasn't even a consensus top 100 guy. He was also not that great in the minors until he started sporting 400+babips. I have Sox fans who told me before this year that he was better than the overhyped Bryant and Soler.

    I've never understood that mentality. A guy beats you fairly, so the appropriate reaction is to chuck a 90mph fastball at him endangering both his life and income potential.

    You do not give up top tier prospects for the right to pay a pitcher 25-30M a year.

    It's amazing to me that Richard doesn't get teed off on more, like this. It just looks so hittable.

    I still say it's absurd to say there are 50 more valuable players than Arrieta. The haul they could get for 2.5 more years of him would be crazy.

    I hyped him and picked him up on my dynasty squad about two weeks ago. My bad. Hopefully Steele and Cease don't suffer similar fates.

    I just got finished with my league's amateur draft where I had picks 8,10,12,13 and 19. I took Andrew Benintendi,Tyler Jay,Kolby Allard,Cornelius Randolph and Ashe Russell in that order. The problem is I have 20 prospects on my farm right now and the draft puts me 5 over, so I need to drop/trade 5 in the next two weeks. Who should I ship off?     Not sure how that makes a lot of sense. They need pitching so they'd trade away a major league ready pitcher as well as a top 30 pitching prospect who should move quickly?

    For the life of me I can't understand how Brandon Nimmo is a consensus top 60 prospect while Mark Zagunis is an unknown. They're pretty much the exact same guy.

    3 hits and the FO will continue to sit on their hands.

    Not a single person on this team can bunt. I've never seen a team so completely unable to put a bunt in play.

    Well if they manage to lose today there's a real good chance they get swept with Quintana and Sale going. Not that it much matters when the team can't hit anyways.
