I think they made a big mistake not taking Kyle Lewis.

BA 5.2 Mock has some crazy jumps and falls. Sedlock all the way up to #17, Rutherford to #19,Manning down to #29 and Groome to #12. While Braxton Garret is up to 7 and Quantrill is 8. Amazing to see Groome listed as the 7th pitcher taken now.

So KC is apparently ready to move on from Yordano Ventura. I wouldn't mind acquiring him and throwing him in the pen for the rest of this year and letting him take Hammel's spot next year.

The starters in general have all been incredible, but if Hendricks is now a go who can go 7 or 8 on a regular basis, this rotation is a monster. -

I would gladly give up Contreras plus for Victor Robles. In my eyes, it's between Moncada and Robles for #1 prospect in 2017.

Let's not forget this year's team anomaly, being on pace for 36 pinch hit home runs.

If we're close to the deadline and Baez and Soler still haven't gotten it together on a consistent basis I'd make a move for a bat, otherwise a dominant lefty reliever is the only move I really see necessary. Edwards' eventual appearance in the bullpen should bolster that and there's just no reason to go after a starter right now. I feel so much more confident with Lackey pitching a game 3 than I did with 2nd half Hammel/Hendricks last year.

Piscotty is batting .489 with RISP, .286 with no one on. How one team manages all these statistical anomalies I will never understand.

Julio Urias made his debut and it wasn't pretty. 2 2/3IP 5H 3ER 4BB 3K 42Strikes/39Balls He's honestly lucky it wasn't worse because he was missing every pitch up in the zone.
