  1. Yes, many of those rallies were with 2 outs. That's what happens when you have 1 out to work with. But you'd think with 5 oppurtunities, we could get a hit at least one of those times.
  2. I actually thought that last pitch looked pretty good. Unbelieveable. 13, count them THIRTEEN men left on base. Fred, when's the last time the Cubs left 13 men on base?
  3. Hey Fontenot, want to protect with 2 strikes? This entire game was I LIKE TO SWEAR. We had better score 13 runs tomorrow. [expletive].
  4. Small ball? What should they be doing right now? Scoring runs. Not leaving runners on base.
  5. Come on Cubs. ITS ONE ****ING RUN
  6. Ballgame. Cubs have left at least 10 men on base this game.
  7. I think the game will be decided in this at bat. If Aramis can't get a hit with RISP, no one on the cubs can.
  8. Geo will get on, and Aramis will hit the go ahead HR.
  9. I hate seeing the Cubs score only 1 run. PLEASE SCORE
  10. Okay, i've got a stat for you to find. What's the cubs record when Fred does PBP on NSBB?? CUBS are 25-15 when Hornkohl provides half inning recaps on NSBB.... 50-32 when he doesn't Go CUBS !! With that stat, I'm calling a win right now. Aramis with a pinch hit 2 run HR in the 9th.
  11. who do you suggest we upgrade to? CALL UP HOFFPOWER NAO!
  12. What our record when we leave a billion runners on base? 0-0, of course. I was expecting something along those lines
  13. What our record when we leave a billion runners on base?
  14. Please Cubs. PLEASE get a hit with runners in scoring position.
  15. Just ****ing awesome. I'm calling this a loss already.
  16. No way we don't hit Sanchez tonight.
  17. Hey Soriano, when you almost get picked off twice in a row, you can try to be a bit more cautious.
  18. So four lefties and five righties, and yet all the lefties bat in order. I noticed this as well. Shouldn't it be Marshall instead of Dempster?
  19. As of last night's results; Cubs with a 98.70939% chance to make the playoffs.
  20. If this is the case, I don't understand why we don't just start Marquis on short rest(with a limited pitch count) and have Marshall ready to back him up. Keeps guys in their familiar roles. There's a good chance raw is right and maybe Lou is looking at Marshall as potentially starting. That certainly explains the odd move tonight. Problem is, theres nobody who really deserves to lose their spot in the rotation, even Marquis. And of course, something like this always prompts the weekly is something wrong with Harden panic outbreak. Harden hasn't been very sharp in his last two starts since that 110 pitch outing in Milwaukee. 4 runs against Houston and 5 BBs and only 2 Ks in Atlanta. Zambrano hasn't been very sharp in his last two outings either. OMG OUR TWO ACES ARE LOSING IT SEASON OVER
