    Ok, well today I got in around noon and I saw no batting practice (I plan to get there around 11:15 tomorrow). Someone mentioned the Astros didn't take BP because it was a day game after a night game, but hopefully I'll be able to get some BP home runs this time.

    I was at this game \:D/ :yahoo: It was so nice to just be able to relax after the first inning. I was also at the game last year when the Cubs won 11-5. If I get to the game in time for the gates to open, will I be able to catch Astros batting practice? I'll be in the bleachers.

    Bradley has a .855 OPS since May 25. When was the last time he homered. I think were 0-6 in games that he has homered in though. July 4 was the last time that he homered. His OPS is certainly OBP-heavy (.434 OBP vs a .421 SLG), but the point was that he's producing way more than Sam Fuld will. If you have to choose, you want an OPS that's OBP heavy. One OBP point is worth three SLG points.

    How come whenever I hear about NBA/NHL playoffs, they always talk about home court/ice advantage? In those sports, the game isn't changed at all depending on who's home, where in baseball it is (order of batting). I don't follow other sports besides baseball, so what is the significance of home advantage in sports like the NBA and NHL?

    I think the fake rally ends when we get the bases loaded no outs, someone hits a single but the guy on third trips and breaks his ankle running home, getting tagged out, then Yunel Escobar robs a home run, then Chipper Jones dives 20 rows in to catch a foul ball. Cubs lose.
