    Honestly ... I'm scared as hell to play them. They took 2 of 3 at St. Louis. Means nothing now. I'd say the Cubs have completely turned the corner since we last saw them.

    Lily has been nothing more then a 3rd or 4th starter this year. I really can't wait for Hendry to make a deal for a legit starter to go with Z and Demp. I do feel Sean G is close to assuming that role, though.

    While the White Sox continue to talk and make fools of themselves off the field (Guillen was talking shots at Edmonds today after the game), the Cubs do the talking where they should, on the field. Nuff said.

    Also, anyone notice Alphabet Soup walking off the field seconds after the ball left the bat? He knew it was gone immediately. He also called Ramirez: "the other guy" when he talked about Lee and Ramirez going back to back in the 7th. He mentioned Derrek by calling him DLee and when he got to Ramirez he chose not to say his name and decided to call him: "the other guy". What's the matter, A.J., Can't handle when another plays flips the bat but's it's ok for you? A.J.=Huge douche.

    What's wrong with Hill? Well, he just isn't very good. I don't think we'll be seeing Mr. Hill anymore in 2008 and I suspect he will be gone after the season.

    Take two of three against the team from the south side and the Tampa series becomes a distant memory. It took until game 73 for the Cubs to lose 3 in a row, so I'm not all that disgusted by the sweep. Had the Cubs executed in any of these games they would have took two of three. However, they didn't and when you don't against good teams, you lose. They are clearly missing Soriano and if big Z is lost for any length of time it's going to be fight til the end. I hope this sweep has ticked them off and they pummel the other team in town. Back to back weekends with White Sox should make it very easy to forget about the last 3 games they played. Time to shut up Kenny Williams, Ozzie Guillen and all White Sox fans over the next two weekends. With the O's mixed in between, I think 5-4 or 6-3 should be well within reach.

    I'm very happy we did not trade Sean to the O's for Roberts. This kid has serious potential.

    I'd imagine if we got these guys at Wrigley, we'd put up 8 runs a game on them.
