    Wait, did he say his arm "hurts", or that he just didn't feel good? Big difference. Post game conference Lou said he didn't feel good. That said, you aren't going to the arm Doctor if you have a stomach ache, or feel dizzy. It's the arm or shoulder. What else could it be?

    Piniella assumed because he was going to see that particular Doctor he had arm pain. Not good. I could scream right now but I'm too tired.

    Tomorrow. Z says he did not feel good and left the game. Here we go, here we go. His arm is not right and if it's the worst case scenario, I'll just shake my head and say: Here we go again. Naturally, this happens with 3 weeks left in the season. It's September and here comes the crap we all have had to deal with for years with our team. Kaplan sounded pretty somber.     Lots of Goats in this game. Jim Edmonds grounds into a double play in the 1st with the bases loaded and 1 out. We only get a run that inning. He did hit a game tying HR,so he is the least of the problems tonight. Bob Howry and his usual display of bad pitching. Derrek Lee grounds into a double play in the 8th with the bases loaded and then whiffs in extras with a runner on second. He's a total mess. However, Piniella is the biggest Goat of all of them. What the hell kind of managing was that tonight?

    Friday seems like a long time ago. And enough with the Blum/Lee jokes. I'd obviously take Derrek but for anyone to sit here and say you are happy with Lee, I'd say you are a liar. Tie it, Ward.

    We are talking about Geoff Blum here, right? The same guy who is batting .239 on the season with a .715 OPS? The key words were right now. Blum gets big hits, Lee, not so much. Lets get 3 and win this now.

    Someone tell me what Lou was thinking not using Cedeno in that spot if he was going to replace Fontenot with him anyway. At least with Cedeno, you have a guy who can run and stay out of a double play. Of course, Blanco hit a fly ball, but that's some bad managing.

    When we need Lee and his warning track power fly to right, he pulls it on the ground to the left. He's really messed up.

    Like I said, it's not ideal hitting Lee 4th, but I want A-Ram coming up in the 1st inning with a chance to do damage. D-lee has been a rally killer.

Sori DeRo A-Ram Lee Soto Edmonds Fukudome Theriot I realize having Lee hitting 4th is not ideal, but it's better then having him hit 3rd. I want A-Ram to have a chance to get max at bats.

    If we go 10-14, which is really stretching it, the Phillies would need to go 20-4 for us not to get in. EDIT: 20-4 to tie us, 21-3 to get in.

    He has the fly out to RF and 6-4-3 down to a science. He has 5 HR in the last 3 months and he hit a grand total of 1 in August. That's pathetic from a 3 hitter.
