If this AH stadium does happen.(I hope it does) what year are we looking at for the Bears first season there? I would assume it will be 2024 at the earliest that any construction would begin. Not to mention all the road work and other infrastructure and government funding.

I was bored last weekend and made some small CFB bets. Did mostly terrible, but did hit the ND +17. I mainly focus on NFL and that is like lighting money on fire but at least I somewhat know what I am doing. My bets for this weekend so far: Rams +2.5 Jax +3.5(got this before the line drop) Bal -6.5 NYG +6 Probably going to bet GB at -1.5 and Cleveland at +2.5, maybe Pittsburgh at +6.5 too. Deciding on those, might lay off. I always place money on the SNF and MNF games but don't like anything yet. As for CFB, some "expert" was mentioning teams to fade. Specifically FIU, he mentioned taking Texas St at (-13.5). But I don't know enough about either of those teams.

If it was week 7 and they were playing on the east coast, sure, I could see an issue. But they have plenty of time to prepare to kickoff at 10am local in early September. Yeah that WC team on a 10am start is a bit of an old wives tale. Especially Week 1.

Probably the best time to play the 49ers. Rather play them now then mid season. I see the line at +7, it probably will go to +6.5 rather than +7.5 barring something injury wise happening between now and 9/11. 49ers 20 Bears 17

Reminds me more of the 2009 Cubs. The 2004 team still won 89 games. 2009 they never got going, despite a garbage division like the WS this year. -

Anyone know when the 2023 schedule is released? Thought it was in August usually. Maybe with each team playing every other team at least one series it will take more time.

NFL schedule releases today. For Bears so far Week 2 at GB SNF Week 18 again vs Vikings last game of season. Not sure if home or away
