  1. I like Kentucky too. But I have been giving back all my NFL profits on college this year so what do I know?
  2. Awesome! I used to do those risk free SGPs on FD when they returned your loss back as site credits instead of free bets. I tried only one this year with Fields as first TD scorer +Montgomery over rushing and + Mooney under receiving in the GB game. It was nothing like what you got paid on but still paid like $150
  3. For the sake of argument. Let's say 14 is their draft position. Would trading down make sense here? I haven't looked at anything related to draft projections
  4. Picking up draft capital is such a nice change of Pace compared to the last GM
  5. Exactly
  6. Bears 20 Cowboys 19 I'm drinking the kool-aid. If the Bears cab continue being successful running the ball they can win
  7. What was the amount of the bet and how much do you stand to win? $50 at 25-1 to win $1250. Astros are -185 to win the series, actually using a hedge calculator my expected value is only $420 so its not that bad of an offer. I may just bet $92.50 to at least get my original $50 back
  8. BETMGM is offering me $430 to buy out of my WS ticket on the Phillies. horsefeathers that
  9. That game was surprising. The biggest positive was the coaching staff imo. This team on offense is perhaps the least talented in the NFL and they looked dominant on MNF. Will be fun to see how this coaching staff does with increased talent. Just a thought. Maybe recency bias but which team has a brighter future? Bears or Packers?
  10. 2006- Brady deked Urlacher 2010- Terrible weather, a very good Bears team got destroyed by the Patriots Oh and 2002 at U of I, The Bears actually almost beat the defending SB champs. I remember that terrible team. I remember the 88 game, Bears were a good team and I think the Patriots sucked. I was so pissed but remembered the SB massacre was still a not so distant memory.
  11. If Mac Jones starts the Bears chances of victory improve from 5% to 10% imo
  12. I'd only hedge if I thought the hedge is a good bet. Good point, and I feel San Diego should beat Philly My Phillies ticket still alive! Glad I was wrong about the NLCS
  13. 49ers gave up a lot but in a weak NFC might as well push all in 2023 2nd,3rd,4th 2024 5th
  14. I would have to imagine Ozzie would be the favorite knowing Jerry and the fandom. It will increase ticket sales
  15. Exactly. Bernstein had a guest on yesterday. Bernstein said the Dodgers are a dynasty LOL. They have made the playoffs 8 or 9 straight years and several 100 win seasons. The guest who I forgot who it was said they only won one world series and it was from a 60 game regular season. The problem with the Dodgers is part of it is dumb baseball luck of a short series, but I think the grind of 162 wears them down, something a 60 game regular season didn't.
  16. Show him how wrong that thinking is. Exhibit A: Mike Ditka Exhibit B: Joe Maddon
  17. Keep tanking Hawks and luck into the #1 pick this year. Connor Bedard looks awesome
  18. 3 elite teams: Bills, Eagles, Chiefs 3 terrible teams: Bears, Panthers, Texans 26 Meh teams Are the Giants the worst 5-1 team of all time? Are the Raiders the best 1-4 team of all time?
  19. Bears cover but lose 17-13
  20. I mean how many more games will the Bears win this season? 2-3? 4-13 will get them a top 5 pick at worst, 5-12 should get them in the 6-8 range. Split with the Lions and maybe beat the Falcons. Don't beat a resting Vikings squad that probably will have their #2 or #3 seed locked up.
  21. Bet dogs, bet unders=Profit
  22. I'd only hedge if I thought the hedge is a good bet. Good point, and I feel San Diego should beat Philly
  23. So I have a Phillies World Series ticket at 25-1 I bet $50 to win $1250 Thinking of hedging the Padres to win the NLCS at -120 will cost me $60 to win $50 to cover my original bet. Would break even if Padres win If the Philles make the WS, I can hedge on the AL winner to break even. If the Philles win the World Series I still can net around $1000 profit. Last year I had tickets on both the Braves and Astros so I did not need to hedge. Would you hedge in this situation or let it ride? $1250 is by no means life changing money lol
  24. That makes too much sense. They talked about this or something similar. If they added a second bye, the season would go to the end of February. Moving Week 1 up to Labor Day weekend isn't something they want to do either.
  25. Bears probably should have won this 17-3 but at least they have a draft tiebreaker on Washington. This roster blows Getsy blows I want to see Fields improve, despite the horrible talent around him, he has. Albeit at a slower pace so far
