this is basically how we found out about Theo Well, if his flight leaves LA say around 1pm Chicago time, it would put him at Ohare around 5pm. Traffic downtown should get him to the Cubs convention by the middle of the opening ceremonies if this tweet pans out(which I don't believe for a minute)

Yup they probably bought 100s of rings for like 50 cents a piece, it costs them $3 to ship so they are making like $10 on each ring.

I'd go out somewhere outside the hotel. Back when it was still at the Hilton I would walk over to Miller's Pub. Great beer selection and good reasonably priced food.

i know this isn't the dexter deal you were referring to but man this just made me think of how dexter surprised re-upped with us in 16 and how horsefeathering cool that was Not only did that, but did that then hit a leadoff homer in game 7 of the world series and made himself a lot more money in the process. Literally everybody won (except the orioles lol horsefeathers them) Edit: Oh yeah and the contract he got will be something of an albatross to our division rivals as he ages. Which reminds me I haven't watched game 7 yet in 2018.
