  1. Apparently it was a second round pick
  2. Broyles and Carter are going to be back vs Texas and start. I'm starting to finally feel good about this game. This is going to be the first time all year that OU is actually healthy for a game. Minus, of course, Gresham
  3. http://soonerpsycho.com/spfarksandpics/mackchangesmccoysdiaper.gif Don't forget to change his diaper before the game
  4. that was a nice pass and catch on the TD
  5. I don't know how that has anything to do with Mccoy not being able to lead his team to a big XII title in three years that he has been the quarterback. If whatever you said somehow proves that point and I just don't comprehend it, then okay.
  6. it's as much his fault as anyone else's. If you're on a football team you all share the blame for everything that happens. It wouldn't of mattered if his DB dropped that pick if Mccoy had led Texas to a two score lead. The BCS wouldn't have come into play if Mccoy could've led his team to a win over texas tech. It's his fault as well
  7. McCoy was on the 2005 Texas football team. He has national championship and big xii championship rings. The former of which Sam Bradford will never ave. I knew someone was going to say that. That wasn't Mccoy's team, it was Young's. I should rephrase what I said... Mccoy has never even led his team to a big XII championship.
  8. The Alamo Bowl is not better than the Holiday Bowl. i know, i'm just saying if they do I'm afraid your boys are gonna git a beat down this comin Saturday, sonny! The Great Mack Brown got this un circled on the calender for near a year now! The real mccoy will shoot down the sooners and claim the bronzed trophy that was tragicaly stolen from him last year! Okay? Have fun with that. What's really funny is that Mccoy has never won the big XII :-))
  9. The Alamo Bowl is not better than the Holiday Bowl. i know, i'm just saying if they do
  10. If OSU gets into a better bowl than OU, i might kill myself
  11. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=45534223 Broyles might play. If he plays, i think we win. Without him, it's going to be a close game.
  12. Looks like you guy will have snead for one more year (I don't know if that is good or bad) lol
  13. You might want to specify that we can't run the ball in the red zone. We can run the ball the rest of the time when opponent's D play the pass. Both our running backs average over 5 ypc.
  14. McCoy being terrible is a huge overstatement. well being 22nd in pass efficiency, 25th in yards, tied for 27th in TDs, being 25th in interceptions thrown, all while throwing it the sixth most times against absolutely horrible defenses is pretty bad. I don't know how you can spin that into a good thing? http://espn.go.com/college-football/statistics/player/_/stat/passing/sort/collegeQuarterbackRating you've played teams that give up 31.4, 25.8, 21.3, 34.8, and 30 points per game. You've played the easiest schedule in terms of weak defenses out of any of the relevant teams. http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/stats/byteam?cat1=defense&cat2=Total&sort=1137&conference=I-A_all&year=2009 Oklahoma is the third best defense in the country only giving up 8 points a game, so this will be your first true game. I just hope Reesing continues to play well enough to garner an invite. Probably a longshot, but it would be cool. I'm not going going to say that i'm more afraid of playing kansas than texas, because it's kansas... But going to play both kansas and nebraska at their places this year is dangerous. Those should both be close games unless kansas acts like they're kansas again and nebraska doesn't think this is the 90's

  16. The las vegas line is even closer with texas -1.5 http://www.vegasinsider.com/college-football/odds/las-vegas/?s=1189
  17. I'm amazed that texas is only -3 On the Heisman thing, stats really don't matter this year. Landry Jones, as well as many other players, has better stats than Mccoy and Tebow but this is mccoy's year to win the award. As much as Mccoy has been trying to give away the award by being terrible, it honestly doesn't matter. If tebow wins out it might be a competition though.
  18. http://sites.google.com/site/floydch/2001williams_ap-large.jpg Boomer Sooner
  19. He does. People cheat up on the line to stop the run and all the receivers get one on one coverage. In the LSU game he had a wide open receiver in the end zone and under threw him by five to ten yards for a pick. I wish bradford had his receivers, he would throw for 500 a game
  20. Just throwing it out there: Tebow career completion %: 64.7 Career TD:INT ratio: 73:12 He's adequate, but when you spend your career throwing passes to Percy Harvin, Louis Murphy, Andre Caldwell and Cornelius Ingram it's not hard to be that productive. I think a large part of his success is his ability to run the football and defenses in college have to respect that. I think he's a good enough athlete to make NFL defenses respect that and make his arm play better than it really is. I just don't think he'll survive long enough to be a starter. His best shot is at someone who likes the Wildcat, and may see's 10-15 snaps a game as a true wildcat type QB. You give him more snaps than that he'll probably be split in two and we'll be picking pieces of him up. Yeah, I'm not arguing that he'll translate into a great - or even possibly good - NFL quarterback. And it does help that he's had fantastic athletes to throw to throughout his career. But, you don't put up those kinds of numbers against mostly very good defenses if you're making a bunch of terrible throws and can't throw deep. He's been very productive through the air in college. He can't throw deep, unless they are wide open, and he makes a bunch of terrible throws, unless they are wide open
  21. missed it
  22. eight more minutes
  23. just saw the kick on ESPN, that was nasty
  24. I don't know anything about soccer, but good to see our team qualify
