    FO mentioned that Forte has been one of the worst backs in the league up the middle, but is top 5 on the outside. Kruetz gets blown out of the hole a lot

    Forte had 65 of his rushing yards on the left side yesterday, and not one attempt was for a loss. Garza(Webb) was much worse on the right, getting holding calls and having a couple runs stuffed.

    I don't know. Granted it was only 1 play, but he got completely ran over by that OLB for GB that I never heard of til yesterday. He also got ran by on an occassion or two. Purely physical mistakes, iMO. I took those as mental mistakes, considering they were protection schemes on passing plays (if I recall the same ones you are)

    Chris Williams is playing fairly well for learning the OG position 1/2 way into the season. Yesterday on Forte's runs, he was consistently blowing the GB DT 2-3 yards back, and on at least one play, about 6 yrds. I think the change might be really good for him. his pass protection has a bit to go, but I think thats from learning the position and not fully understanding the protection schemes.

    I wouldn't call getting into the playoffs at 7-9 a triumphant "eat crow" moment for Pete Carroll. He had a decent debut season, and lucked out on being in a horrible division. he could still complete tank the organization. and unfortunately, I really think the Saints will handle Charlie much better then the Rams did. If Hasslebeck plays, Saints win big.

    why? This is the 1st time in how many years that they weren't in last place in the division, at least not alone in last place.THATS PROGRESS! They'll still get a decent draft pick, and considering they aren't looking for a QB, WR, or DT, they'll probably get good value where they pick as well.

    You don't think GB would have played their defense differently if Bennett had been in there instead of Davis? No, they wouldve given Bennett the underneath routes all day like they did Davis. In that case, I think Bennett would've burned them for a lot more yards than Davis. not Bennett, Knox would have burned them.

    the entire WR corps laid an egg yesterday, as well as the o-line. the passing game was just a funk. maybe they gave a damn, but they weren't in sync, made bad decisions, and sucked. that shouldn't have happened considering their last 2 games. I just think Martz gave them a pass for the week mentally.

    Lol it's not up to the coach whether or not the players give a [expletive]. If the coach tells you you're playing the whole game, you're playing the whole game. And that's what Lovie did. But it doesn't mean all of a sudden you care more as a player. Not having anything to play for affects you, even if it's on a sub-conscious level. It's all about desperation. not to mention I think Knox/Hester/Aroushamado(sp?)/Olsen proved they really didn't give a [expletive] with their crappy play. Offensive line as well.

    so, does the Packers making the playoffs secure McCarthy's stay? I hope so...

    I see the Packers having issues with Vick. I know he was hurting last weekend, but I bet hes good to go for this weekend. They wont be able to stop his running, the question will be if Vick will start throwing int's. he's been resistant to that all season, but he isn't immune. the packers have traditionally had fast CB's, who could more or less keep up with the faster Eagle WR's. For that reason, it will likely be Vick's legs that win or lose this one. The packers offense will destroy the Eagles if they dont get a pass rush.

    it will likely be 40, but not rainy. we've hit a dry spell, and its been fairly sunny but cool.

    ? MIKE MCCARTHY IF ONLY LOVIE KNEW HOW TO CHALLENGE I agree. but we dont have the All Star at every position roster like you guys. and yet, you still sputter, choke, and back into the playoffs.

    I think the Bears offense was playing conservative, just trying to gut out a win and not show their cards. the defense came to prove something
