Lets see what happens as the offseason gets underway. Jerry makes those decisions. I'm sure Lovie gets a lot of input, but I don't think Lovie really has to worry about payroll the same way Jerry does. Lovie tends to get what Lovie wants. With the way Tommie finished the season, I wouldnt mind giving him a short incentive laden contract to see if he is for real. Even at 90% of 2005 Tommie, he would be the best interior DL we currently have.

They don't have the hate/hate affection that we Bears have for him just yet, but they are coming around. It's probably more of a like/hate right now. they seem VERY slow to change.

I happen to know a local high school coach out here who asked me about it. I ran into him at the gym and he started on how he didnt think Cutler was a good leader, and asked me if I was buying all of this with the implication that he did. after my 5 min profanity tirade he looked at me kind of funny. I don't think he expected me to respond the way I did, and neither did I really. he was a bit taken back and tried to smooth it over with some stupid comment about how the "punky qb McMahon...." to which I stoped him mid sentence with "HE HAD 1 GOOD [expletive] YEAR. MCMAHON SUCKED" I dont think people outside of the Chicago fanbase (and even some inside of it) understand what its like to go year after year with the likes of Moses Moreno or Cate McNown I should probably apologize to Coach at some point after I cool down a bit.
